Applied AI Architect, Strategic Enterprise Tech

Location: San Francisco, CA; New York City, NY; or Seattle, WA. Hybrid policy requires staff to work from one of the offices at least 25% of the time, with occasional travel to customer sites.

Annual compensation: $240,000–$315,000 USD OTE, including base salary and target sales commissions or bonuses.

What you will do

• Partner with account executives and strategic enterprise customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Guide customers from technical discovery and evaluation through Claude API and Claude for Enterprise deployment.
• Develop AI adoption strategies, use-case scopes, architecture reviews, technical workshops, and multi-quarter roadmaps.
• Reproduce customer environments and problems, build working solutions, and demonstrate production paths.
• Design scalable architectures, integration patterns, and evaluation frameworks for enterprise use cases.
• Bring customer insights to Anthropic product and engineering teams while communicating product direction back to customers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in roles such as Field CTO, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Product Manager, including hands-on building experience.
• Experience with enterprise customers, strategic accounts, complex buying cycles, and multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to C-suite executives, engineering teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating enterprise systems.
• Comfort with Python and familiarity with LLM frameworks and tools, machine learning, or data science.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or relevant experience.
