Applied AI Architect, Strategic Enterprise Tech

Location: San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle, United States; hybrid policy requires staff to work from an office at least 25% of the time. Occasional travel to customer sites is required.

Annual compensation: $240,000–$315,000 USD OTE, including base salary and target sales commissions or bonuses.

What you will do

• Partner with account executives to understand enterprise requirements and translate business objectives into technical solutions.
• Advise strategic enterprise customers throughout Claude adoption, from technical discovery and evaluation through deployment.
• Develop AI adoption strategies, use-case scopes, architecture reviews, technical workshops, and adoption roadmaps.
• Build working solutions by reproducing customer environments and problems, demonstrating the path to production with the Claude API and Claude for Enterprise.
• Create technical content for engineering teams, IT stakeholders, and executives, while coordinating with Anthropic’s Product and Engineering teams.
• Help customers design evaluation frameworks, make architecture decisions, and identify repeatable integration patterns.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in roles such as Field CTO, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Product Manager, including hands-on building experience.
• Experience working with enterprise customers and managing strategic accounts through complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles.
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating enterprise systems.
• Comfortable with Python and familiar with common LLM frameworks and tools, machine learning, or data science.
• Strong technical communication, relationship-building, teaching, mentoring, and cross-organizational collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and professional experience in a relevant field.
