Partner Engineer (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; hybrid

Salary: $190,000–$240,000 per year, plus equity grant

What you will do

• Scale technical onboarding and reduce integration time through internal and partner-facing tools.
• Lead technical implementation of new products and features from planning through partner coordination, testing, issue resolution, and go-live.
• Debug critical integration issues and coordinate solutions between internal teams and platform partners.
• Document integration details and processes for internal teams and partners.
• Capture partner feedback to influence product roadmaps, APIs, and platform improvements.
• Build tooling, automation, demos, starter kits, tutorials, and other partner-facing assets.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in client-facing technical roles such as post-sales engineering, software integration, technical partner support, customer success engineering, or technical GTM engineering.
• Strong engineering background and fluency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, data pipelines, and embeddable UI components.
• Ability to navigate a codebase, particularly using React, Scala, and Python.
• Experience creating working demos and production applications.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, partner management, and technical documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of integration best practices and technical scoping.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Experience working in fintech.
