Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Location: Fully on-site in Torrance, California, United States; relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $165,000–$190,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, with additional support for Azure workloads.
• Build, administer, and optimize production Kubernetes clusters, including scaling, networking, and security configurations.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments and support GitOps practices.
• Develop and review Terraform modules for infrastructure as code across cloud providers.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
• Improve cloud security, troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident response, and document operational procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience and working knowledge of Azure services.
• Production experience administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines, managing GitHub Enterprise, and using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go; knowledge of networking, Docker, container registries, monitoring, and cloud security best practices.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Nice to have

• AWS, Kubernetes, or Azure certifications.
• Prior military service in the U.S. Air Force or Navy in a technical field.
• Experience with ArgoCD, Flux, Istio, Linkerd, OPA, Sentinel, or regulated environments.
