Data Scientist (AI/ML)

Location: Foster City, California, United States; at least 3 days per week in the office required

Salary: $137,400–$212,500 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and applicable sales incentive payments.

What you will do

• Solve complex business problems using advanced data science techniques, AI/ML models, and data-driven frameworks.
• Build and deploy machine learning, deep learning, large language model, and transformer-based solutions.
• Develop a vision for data science capabilities aligned with business goals.
• Lead the design and development of large-scale data science systems and promote innovation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to integrate data science solutions.
• Present actionable insights and technical concepts to senior leadership and business partners.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or an advanced degree.
• Experience developing advanced data science models and scalable models from large-scale, real-world datasets.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning, including MLPs, large language models, transformer architectures, recommendation systems, generative models, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and data science tools such as Python, R, Spark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Ability to work in an office setting at least 3 days per week in Foster City, California; travel of 5–10% is required.
