Accounting Advisory Associate II

Location: United States; onsite in Sioux Falls, SD. Candidates elsewhere in the U.S. within commuting distance of a hirify.global office follow a hybrid schedule.

What you will do

• Manage client accounting services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and management and compilation reports for small and mid-size private companies.
• Participate in multiple client engagements and collaborate with client personnel throughout implementations.
• Assess ERP implementation needs and help develop and implement solutions across different subject-matter areas.
• Analyze financial and operational information, prioritize issues, and provide recommendations and solutions.
• Support special client projects that provide additional accounting and advisory experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
• At least three years of experience in public accounting or an accounting function in industry.
• Experience with ERP data conversions, interfaces, integrations, reporting, and customizations.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Intacct, NetSuite, or other accounting platforms.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrated leadership, and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects concurrently.
• Desire to pursue a CPA and knowledge of GAAP are required or preferred qualifications.
