Electrical Engineer (Military Aircraft)

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop electrical design concepts and technical solutions based on customer requirements, performance targets, cost, schedule, and reliability goals.
• Create and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and designers to define and implement system-level hardware requirements.
• Support PCB design through component selection, layout reviews, design validation, and circuit analysis.
• Develop test plans, troubleshooting procedures, and verification activities for electrical and electronic systems.
• Resolve production, manufacturing, and field issues while supporting configuration management, engineering changes, obsolescence management, and DFM improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of electrical engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, or similar.
• Knowledge of analog, digital, and power electronics design principles, component selection, circuit analysis, and signal integrity.
• Experience developing and validating DSP solutions on embedded processors, FPGAs, SoCs, or specialized DSP hardware.
• Ability to work onsite in Mineral Wells, Texas; the position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
