Principal Software Engineer, Game - Unpublished R&D; Product (C++)

What you will do

• Own the technical vision and execution of gameplay features across multiple key areas.
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, animators, quality specialists, engineers, and producers to shape player experiences.
• Brainstorm, design, and implement prototypes addressing product, development, and technical questions.
• Lead the delivery of game content tools and pipelines for external development teams.
• Improve gameplay tools supporting environments, physics, audio, and navigation.
• Build complex system changes and mentor engineering teammates.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of professional game development experience.
• Experience shipping games across PC, console, and mobile platforms.
• Experience building gameplay systems and collaborating with designers.
• Expertise in C++ within complex codebases.
• Experience mentoring developers and leading technical designs and decisions.
• Experience building game content tools and pipelines.
