Senior UI Programmer (C++)

hirify.global develops game technology and in-game interfaces using the proprietary 4A Engine.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain UI systems and features for the proprietary 4A Engine.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and artists to turn concepts into polished in-game interfaces.
• Build scalable UI architecture and reusable frameworks for multiple game systems.
• Implement front-end interfaces for configuring game systems with engine and tools programmers.
• Resolve complex UI issues and maintain code quality, readability, documentation, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior programmers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional programming experience in game development.
• Strong C++ programming skills.
• Experience implementing UI for game engine editors, tools, or multimedia software.
• Experience building responsive, user-friendly interfaces and clear interfaces for complex tools.
• Strong understanding of UX and usability principles, including hierarchy, repeatable patterns, clarity, and user flow.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing UI for game systems.
• Familiarity with DCC tools, data-driven UI frameworks, font generation, text processing, or Perforce.
• Experience mentoring engineers and a passion for video games.
