Director, Product Program Management

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States, with travel to and onsite work at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.

Salary: $122,900–$180,350 annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Build and lead a team of 3–5 Product Program Managers, including hiring, development, evaluation, and pod assignments.
• Establish, improve, and enforce program management playbooks, templates, standards, and operating norms.
• Own portfolio-level reporting on program health, risks, resourcing, and value realization for TPI leadership.
• Lead 1–2 product pods and coordinate delivery boundaries with Product, Innovation, Engineering, and Product Operations.
• Act as the escalation point for unresolved program issues and present recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product program management or product-oriented project management experience driving software or technology products through a full development lifecycle.
• Direct people-management experience, including selecting or hiring team members, developing them, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Experience managing a portfolio of programs with portfolio reporting, resourcing decisions, and cross-program risk management.
• Fluency with structured product development lifecycles, gate criteria, phase transitions, and program health assessment.
• Strong executive communication and the ability to manage ambiguity while building a new function.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States and be able to travel to and work onsite at required locations.

Nice to have

• Experience establishing or leading a PMO, program management, or product operations function.
• Healthcare or revenue cycle management experience.
• Familiarity with Aha!, monday.com, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with agile or similar scaled planning cadences.
