Focus on designing and analyzing experiments, maintaining installation roadmaps, and leading an intern project through completion.

Location: USA - Vermont - Essex Junction

Salary: $20.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Support Fab 9 operations by sustaining and running the fab floor and resolving equipment and process issues.
  • Establish and manage equipment quality control plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, cost reduction, and yield learning.
  • Define and maintain equipment installation process qualification plans and roadmaps.
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to screen and optimize manufacturing processes for performance, yield, reliability, stability, and cost-of-ownership targets.
  • Lead an intern project through completion and present the results during the end-of-year intern poster session.

Requirements

  • Be a sophomore at the time of application and actively pursue a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field through an accredited program during the internship.
  • Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and good academic standing.
  • English fluency is required for written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
  • Perform all activities safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.
  • Leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, or competitions.
  • Project management, innovation, execution, and ambiguity-navigation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, Statistical Process Control, and Design of Experiments.
