Technical Product Manager (Cloud Networking)

Location: San Jose, California (Hybrid)

Salary: $116,364–$193,940 USD annually, plus benefits. Actual base salary and level depend on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and location.

What you will do

• Establish product strategy, roadmap, feature prioritization, product requirements, and success criteria aligned with customer and business outcomes.
• Partner with engineering to translate business requirements into technically feasible, scalable solutions while managing trade-offs, dependencies, risks, releases, and technical constraints.
• Use customer insights, market research, analytics, experimentation, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and guide product decisions.
• Drive adoption of AI/ML, cloud platforms, automation, data products, SaaS platforms, and modern architectures.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate complex technical concepts to executives, business leaders, engineering, design, and operations without direct authority.
• Deliver products that create measurable business impact through revenue growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, or strategic outcomes.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, APIs, cloud infrastructure, system architecture, and enterprise platforms.
• Ability to engage credibly with engineering teams on design, scalability, integration, and technical trade-offs.
• Strong understanding of core networking concepts and protocols, including BGP, VLANs, VPN technologies, overlay protocols, routing and route-policy design, segmentation, and cloud transit architectures.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of native public cloud networking constructs, including AWS Transit Gateway and Cloud WAN, Azure Virtual WAN and Virtual Network, and hub-and-spoke architectures.
• Proven experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, and feature prioritization from concept through delivery.
• Ability to balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and business outcomes, with a track record of delivering products that drive measurable business impact.
• Experience gathering and translating customer insights into product requirements and enhancements, together with strong business acumen.
• Comfort using data, metrics, and experimentation to prioritize opportunities, evaluate outcomes, and identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities early.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influence skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
