TL;DR
Drug & Occupational Health Screening Investigator (Drug/OHS Screening): Managing at-risk drug and occupational health screening reports, coordinating clinics, and conducting candidate and customer outreach with an accent on judgment, HIPAA-aware communication, and escalation prevention. Focus on resolving nonstandard cases, identifying recurring process gaps, and improving screening operations across customers and vendors.

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, United States; expected to work from the office 3+ days a week. A relocation stipend may be available for relocation to a hirify.global hub in Denver, San Francisco, Nashville, or Santiago.

Salary: $43,000–$54,000 USD per year in on-target earnings or base salary.

What you will do

  • Manage an assigned queue of at-risk drug and occupational health screening reports.
  • Proactively notify customers about canceled reports, turnaround-time breaches, and other at-risk statuses.
  • Coordinate directly with clinics to obtain stalled results and missing documentation.
  • Send scheduling and status updates to candidates for defined outreach triggers.
  • Use judgment to resolve cases outside standard operating procedures and document outcomes.
  • Identify recurring failure points and flag process gaps to the broader program.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing, vendor-facing, or coordination-heavy role.
  • Comfort with extended phone communication and persistent follow-up.
  • HIPAA awareness and sound judgment when sharing or requesting PII and PHI during clinic conversations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working through ambiguous situations.
  • Experience identifying patterns and escalating systemic issues.
  • Ability to work from the Nashville office at least 3 days per week.
