TRICARE Community Liaison (Healthcare)

Location: Bethesda, MD, United States; work from the Bethesda office with travel to other area clinics and uncommon duty hours.

Salary: $64,600–$75,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Interact in person and through telephone, email, and chat with TRICARE beneficiaries, Medical Treatment Facility and government staff, senior military leaders, and civilian healthcare providers and facilities.
• Explain the TRICARE health plan and help beneficiaries, facilities, and providers navigate the Military Health System.
• Conduct outreach activities and provide briefings at other clinics in the area.
• Handle a high volume of customer contacts courteously and professionally while reporting to the Market Development Advisor.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must successfully receive interim approval for a government security clearance through NBIS.
• Willingness to travel and work uncommon hours, including travel to other local clinics for briefings.
• At least one year of experience in customer relations, a public contact position, and/or TRICARE, including presentations to groups.
• Experience handling high-volume customer contacts in a courteous and professional manner.

Nice to have

• Experience analyzing information, researching problems, and determining and implementing solutions.
• Experience in healthcare provider relations.
• Knowledge of the TRICARE program.
