Treasury Management Officer III - Governmental/Higher Education (Financial Services)

Location: Onsite at the Franklin Building in Chicago, Illinois, United States

Base salary: $134,400–$249,600 per year, plus incentive compensation based on company, business, and/or individual performance.

What you will do

• Set relationship strategies and manage activities across a book of business to grow sales, revenue, and market share.
• Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships with government, public entity, higher education, and nonprofit organizations.
• Originate, analyze, negotiate, and document non-credit treasury products and services.
• Provide cash flow and treasury management insights tailored to client needs and financial objectives.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, and operational risks while managing risk-adjusted returns.
• Build senior internal, external, community, and industry relationships and mentor other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Typically 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience providing treasury and cash flow solutions to government, public entity, higher education, or nonprofit clients.
• Experience responding to requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Knowledge of complex treasury products, industry benchmarking, financial analysis, prospecting, sales negotiation, and client relationship management.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available for this position.
