TL;DR
Product Owner - Claims (Insurance): Defining, prioritizing, and coordinating software delivery work for insurance claims products with an accent on user stories, release planning, Agile ceremonies, and stakeholder alignment. Focus on guiding cross-functional delivery teams, organizing testing with BA/QA professionals, and translating business needs into functional requirements.
Location: Omaha, Nebraska, with a hybrid schedule requiring 50% in the corporate headquarters office

What you will do
- Identify product team goals with stakeholders and create execution plans focused on outcomes.
- Gather and translate product initiative requirements into user stories and functional requirements.
- Guide software delivery teams and collaborate with Scrum Masters, Technical Leads, and cross-functional partners.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint and release planning, reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate communication among Program and Portfolio Managers, project sponsors, internal stakeholders, and technology teams.
- Support BA/QA professionals with test plans, test scripts, and testing coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Five or more years of related professional experience.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and software development practices.
- Experience with application lifecycle management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, or Rally.
- Professional experience as a Business Analyst, Business Team Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master.
- Must work 50% from the Omaha corporate headquarters; visa sponsorship is not available.

- Experience in business analysis or project management.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and continuous integration.
