Location: Greenbelt, Maryland, USA; majority of time spent at the NASA SEWP Program Management Office, with local travel up to 60% and CONUS travel up to 25% as needed.

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

  • Administer high-value, high-risk federal contracts and manage contract modifications throughout the lifecycle.
  • Process corporate changes and novation agreements by gathering and reviewing legal and financial documentation.
  • Draft, issue, review, and manage subcontracts, contract-holder actions, and performance tracking.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant contract files, repositories, spreadsheets, deadlines, and deliverables using contract systems and ServiceNow.
  • Support SEWP leadership and civil servant contracting staff with documentation, vendor follow-up, reporting, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, government clients, contract holders, and cross-functional teams to resolve contractual issues and improve delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal contracting processes, procedures, regulations, and FAR requirements.
  • Experience managing complex contract issues, portfolios, modifications, documentation, and data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency with contract management systems, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and collaborative tools including MS Teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, public speaking, analytical thinking, organization, and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work primarily from the Greenbelt, Maryland office and travel to customer and federal agency sites in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and elsewhere within CONUS.

Nice to have

  • Federal contracting certification such as DAWIA.
  • Experience with NASA SEWP, IDIQ contracts, and GWACs.
  • Familiarity with FPDS, CPARS, NCMS, and similar federal contracting data systems.
  • Knowledge of current federal contracting industry trends and documentation practices.
