TL;DR

Location: Arlington, Texas, United States; professional office environment with travel to sites for audits and training

What you will do

  • Support FIAR programs covering property accountability, valuation, data cleansing, and Accountable Property System of Record usage.
  • Perform internal control testing, process walkthroughs, documentation reviews, and risk/control matrix maintenance.
  • Test logistics processes across supply chain management, government-furnished property, inventory, materiel management, and equipment accountability.
  • Review logistics transactions in Costpoint and other logistics ERP systems for accuracy, completeness, and auditability.
  • Support physical inventory observations, sample selection, population validation, reconciliations, and corrective action plans.
  • Prepare audit evidence, collaborate with government stakeholders and auditors, and provide FIAR training to process owners.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in DoD logistics, FIAR, internal controls, audit readiness, or property accountability.
  • Experience with inventory management, property records, logistics documentation, and asset accountability.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls over inventory, assets, and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. Government contract requirements.
  • Eligibility for a DoD Personal Security Clearance is required.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of logistics processes and Government property management requirements, including DFARS 252.245-7001, 7002, and 7003.
  • Experience with audit and internal control testing, risk assessment, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience collaborating with multi-service stakeholders.
