Salary: USD 97,500–186,100 annually in Colorado; USD 92,700–213,500 annually in Minnesota, Texas, and Wisconsin

What you will do

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug firmware for hirify.global server platforms.
• Implement enhancements and programming changes for systems software, including operating systems, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
• Analyze coding, programming, and integration activities against established project objectives and guidelines.
• Write and execute testing plans, protocols, documentation, scripts, and tools; identify and debug software issues.
• Collaborate with software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.
• Communicate software design status, project progress, and issue resolution across development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Typically 2+ years of firmware development experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Python, Linux shell scripting, and C/C++.
• Experience with Rust, OpenBMC, Yocto, low-level Linux drivers, and hardware communication protocols including I2C, I3C, CPLD, and GPIO.
• Knowledge of Redfish standards, secure software development life cycles, software systems testing, and test-driven development.
• Mastery of English and the local language is required.
