Data Scientist (Machine Learning)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Salary: $85,000–$90,000 annually, plus eligibility for commission or an annual performance incentive plan.

What you will do

• Query, preprocess, clean, aggregate, and analyze terabytes and petabytes of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Build and deploy scalable supervised, unsupervised, machine learning, and deep learning models for internal and external customers.
• Apply statistical methods including sampling, hypothesis testing, attribution analysis, multivariate segmentation, and recommender systems.
• Develop custom analytical solutions by combining business requirements with data and process knowledge.
• Collaborate with data scientists and data engineering on product development from proof of concept through commercial deployment.
• Support SDLC, CI/CD, agile delivery, and MLOps pipelines for data processing, model training, and prediction testing at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Analytics, or Data Science.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; one year of data science experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms, including regression, random forests, gradient boosting, XGBoost, PCA, NLP, and neural networks.
• Experience with SQL, Python, PyTorch, PySpark, R, Spark, Scala, and AWS.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings to audiences with different technical backgrounds and business priorities.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Statistics.
• Experience with ensemble modeling and Bayesian optimization.
