IT Audit Senior Consultant

Location: United States offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts; principally in-person with flexibility to determine the optimal working environment with the supervisor and team. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary: $91,000–$144,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform IT audits, including tests of design and operating effectiveness, supporting internal controls over financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Test IT general controls covering logical access, system development lifecycle, change management, and computer operations.
• Manage multiple client projects from audit fieldwork preparation through testing, reporting, and communication of results.
• Lead client discussions and communicate key findings, deficiencies, and project challenges to stakeholders.
• Train new team members on IT audit concepts through formal and on-the-job training.
• Contribute to recruiting, client delivery improvements, internal initiatives, and technology exploration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience performing and supervising IT audits, technology risk assessments, or IT internal control evaluations.
• Experience in a professional services or client-facing role.
• Knowledge of IT and internal control frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, NIST, and ISO.
• Proficiency with audit tools and Microsoft Office, along with strong professional writing, verbal communication, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Nice to have

• Current certification or commitment to obtain CISA, CIA, or CPA within two years.
• Japanese-English or Chinese-English bilingual ability may qualify for an exception to the sponsorship requirement.
