Program Manager (Privacy)

Location: Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 USD annually for candidates in the United States, plus potential bonus and/or equity.

What you will do

• Lead planning, execution, governance, and portfolio management for privacy and compliance programs.
• Build roadmaps, project plans, milestones, dependencies, delivery schedules, and operating rhythms.
• Coordinate Privacy, Legal, Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, Data Governance, and business stakeholders.
• Prepare executive presentations, status reports, dashboards, briefings, and program health updates.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, resource constraints, and regulatory commitments.
• Improve intake, workflow, documentation, reporting, metrics, and privacy operations through standardization and automation.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in business administration, project management, information systems, computer science, public policy, legal studies, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 7–10 years of experience in program management, project management, compliance operations, governance, risk management, privacy, or a related field.
• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs in global organizations and matrixed environments.
• Experience with technology, software development, compliance, risk, security, or governance initiatives.
• Experience creating executive reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
• Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Smartsheet.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
• Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification.
