External Engagement Lead, Site Affairs, Vaccines

Location: On premise in Pearl River, New York, United States. Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and eligibility.

Annual base salary: $116,000–$193,400, plus a 15% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Develop and manage strategic and day-to-day external engagement plans for the Pearl River site.
• Plan and execute site activities, including all-hands meetings, VIP visits, science summits, colleague events, onboarding programs, and recognition initiatives.
• Build relationships with local associations and community partners, and coordinate grants, scholarships, and colleague volunteer programs.
• Lead STEM education activities with local schools, including presentations, career exploration sessions, and student Q&As.
• Manage an integrated internal communications program across newsletters, emails, e-signs, internal social channels, and SharePoint.
• Create and publish articles, executive emails, videos, infographics, and presentations while tracking readership and engagement metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience as a project manager.
• Experience working with site leadership, developing and implementing project plans, and executing events and site activities.
• Strong written, oral, communication, interpersonal, analytical, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions under tight timelines, handle confidential information, and work beyond normal hours when needed.
• Experience in the pharma, biotech, or life sciences sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Copilot.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hirify.global organizational processes and procedures.
• Experience with Gemini and other generative AI tools, including ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices, risk management, and ethical use.
