DevOps Engineer II (Compute) - Brazil (AWS/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Design, build, and improve reliable AWS cloud infrastructure and shared compute platforms.
• Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code modules with Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Deploy and operate containerized workloads on Kubernetes and EKS using GitOps and ArgoCD.
• Automate operational work and improve developer experience, reliability, repeatability, and self-service.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, capacity, database connectivity, and deployment issues across development and production.
• Monitor system health, participate in code reviews, staged rollouts, on-call rotation, incident response, and operational documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Go, Python, Java, TypeScript, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Linux, cloud networking, IAM, storage, compute, and managed databases.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, EKS or a comparable managed Kubernetes service, Terraform, Terragrunt, Git, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English; candidates must submit an updated resume translated into English.

• Ability to estimate, design, and deliver a small epic end to end.
