SOC Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Monitor customer networks for security threats using a threat-hunting system.
• Investigate, analyze, triage, and qualify potential security incidents.
• Carry out limited incident response for confirmed security incidents.
• Report malicious activity to customers through a ticketing system and recommend remediation actions.
• Follow up with customers until threats are fully remediated.
• Contribute to improving security monitoring and incident response processes.

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills in reading and writing.
• Availability for 24/7 shift work, including holidays.
• 1–2 years of experience in network security roles, including T1/T2 SOC analyst experience.
• Experience with SIEM, firewalls, IPS/IDS, and threat intelligence solutions.
• Knowledge of networking architecture and protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and TLS.
• Basic experience in security assessment and incident management, with an understanding of common cyber threats and attack scenarios.

Nice to have

• Experience with MSSP or MDR providers serving multiple customers.
• Security certifications such as CEH, CSA, or CompTIA Security+.
