Senior Engineer II - Quality

Location: MA - Lowell, United States. The role requires access to U.S.-export-controlled technology and candidates must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or protected-individual status.

Annual base salary: $70,304–$205,000, depending on location, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Support and continuously improve the ISO9001 Quality Management System.
• Resolve internal and customer-facing quality issues, nonconformances, and corrective actions with engineering, manufacturing, logistics, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Investigate problems using root cause analysis methods such as 8D and 5 Whys, and recommend dispositions for nonconforming products.
• Assess product impact from calibration or test equipment failures and track significant nonconformances.
• Prepare quality metrics and technical reports for management.
• Train inspection and manufacturing staff while promoting quality ownership across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 5–8 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or equivalent.
• Proficiency with statistical concepts and tools, including SPC, MSA, and Minitab.
• Experience maintaining an ISO9001-compliant Quality Management System.
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or protected-individual status is required for export-control access.

Nice to have

• Experience in the RF device industry.
• Experience with MIL-STD-750, MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-19500, MIL-PRF-38534, AS9100, AS9102, and IPC J-STD-001 standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for metrics, reports, and presentations.
