Summer 2027 Intern - Investments - Private & Public Equity

Location: Hybrid work environment at the hirify.global CityLine campus in Richardson, Texas; United States work authorization required at the time of hire.

Hourly rate: $33.00 per hour based on a 38.75-hour work week. A $2,000 stipend is payable upon the start of the internship.

hirify.global is a United States insurance company whose Investment Department manages a large, diversified institutional portfolio supporting its personal auto and home insurance business.

What you will do

• Support public equity research and analysis of existing and prospective investments.
• Gather and evaluate company information from filings, earnings calls, management meetings, and investor presentations.
• Assess industry position, competitive differentiation, management quality, and investment risks.
• Assist with screening and due diligence of private equity general partners.
• Prepare written analyses, annual review presentations, and investment recommendations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across investment asset classes and present findings for discussion.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in college and expected to have completed the junior year by the start of the internship.
• Coursework, relevant experience, or demonstrated interest in investments, accounting, financial statement analysis, economics, corporate finance, or real estate.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, risk-assessment, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently while managing priorities, deadlines, and attention to detail.
• Authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

Nice to have

• Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
