Agent Operations Manager (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, California, or Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States

Salary: $145,000–$180,000 annually plus equity

Builds an AI front office for independent provider groups, modernizing patient and provider communication, care delivery, and operational efficiency.

What you will do

• Own workflow discovery, configuration, testing, launch readiness, and post-launch performance across a portfolio of implementations.
• Identify concentrated human effort, diagnose failure modes, and improve automation efficiency, quality, SLA performance, and time to resolution.
• Decide which problems Agent Operations can solve directly, which require process changes, and when Engineering support is needed.
• Prioritize work by balancing customer impact, urgency, operational effort, and long-term scalability.
• Partner with Customer Strategy, Operations, Engineering, and customers to translate workflow requirements into agent behavior.
• Develop reusable configurations, testing methods, monitoring, and playbooks while supporting junior teammates.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in consulting, finance, analytics, operations, technical implementation, product, or a related field.
• Independent ownership of complex operational or technical work from ambiguous problem discovery through launch and ongoing performance.
• Strong prioritization, analytical and systems thinking, autonomous decision-making, and a builder mindset.
• Hands-on experience using data and technical tools such as SQL, APIs, integrations, logs, or agent configuration.
• Ability to drive work across technical and non-technical teams and communicate clearly with customers.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco or Chattanooga.
