What you will do
- Lead end-to-end execution of Battery Integrated Project Team workstreams, including milestones, budgets, technical requirements, and delivery.
- Coordinate engineers, supply chain experts, production teams, the central PMO, and external partners.
- Translate technical challenges into actionable decisions and provide transparent reporting to the Battery Team Lead and Lead PMO.
- Identify and mitigate technical, certification, and logistics risks in battery development.
- Implement scalable PMO processes and manage engineering resource and capacity planning.
- Progress from owning a sub-project to managing the Battery IPT project portfolio, including major milestones such as prototype testing, safety sign-off, and production ramp-up.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Business Administration with a hardware affinity, or a similar field.
- 3–5 years of professional project management experience.
- Experience with complex physical products and agile or structured project management methodologies.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, and Microsoft tools.
- Strong communication skills in English and German, including technical design reviews and briefings to the central PMO and C-level.
- Ownership mindset and ability to operate between a central PMO and a technical engineering team.
Nice to have
- Experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech hardware, especially battery technologies.
- Familiarity with military requirements, defense procurement processes, NATO standards, or a military environment.
- Dual technical-business background.
