Senior Associate, Investment Stewardship

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid office-based role

hirify.global manages global investment stewardship activities through its Investment Stewardship Group within the Portfolio Management department.

What you will do

• Identify, participate in, and track portfolio company engagement opportunities.
• Vote proxies accurately and on time.
• Research corporate governance issues, industry trends, and regulatory developments.
• Prepare stewardship reports and materials for internal committees and external stakeholders.
• Respond to policy and procedure requests, including RFPs and questions from consultants and clients.
• Improve the efficiency and reliability of stewardship procedures through automation and systemization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience with mutual funds or the investment industry.
• Experience in investment stewardship, portfolio company analysis, and proxy voting mechanics.
• Ability to manage high-profile engagements with senior executives and board members.
• Strong writing, analytical, research, data interpretation, and reporting skills.
• Experience working asynchronously with a global team is strongly preferred.
