Product Design Intern (AI)

Location: Remote in Brazil

Salary: $800 USD gross per month

What you will do

• Partner with product managers and engineers to design user-friendly features for web and mobile platforms.
• Create wireframes, visual designs, prototypes, and interaction flows focused on clarity, aesthetics, and usability.
• Build and document reusable components in Figma and contribute to scalable design systems.
• Maintain consistency across UI patterns, language, branding, and product components.
• Participate in user research and testing, present design rationale, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions.
• Explore illustration, animation, motion design, and micro-interactions.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completing a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Some hands-on experience designing digital web or mobile products through internships, coursework, freelance work, or personal projects.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Figma for interface design and prototyping.
• Required experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
• Understanding of accessible and inclusive design, design principles, scalable UI systems, and Figma component management.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or React.
• Experience with After Effects, Lottie, Rive, or other animation and motion tools.
• Interest in interactive components, motion-enhanced micro-interactions, and AI-supported design processes.
• Online portfolio or PDF featuring 3–4 digital design projects, project requirements, and the design process.
