AI Business Systems Analyst

Location: 100% remote anywhere in the United States; travel may be required up to 10% for orientation, company events, training, or onsite meetings.

Salary: $65,000–$100,000 USD annual base salary, plus bonus, benefits, perks, and community gains.

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI, intelligent automation, and process improvement opportunities with business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into AI use cases, solution designs, workflows, data requirements, risk assessments, success measures, and implementation plans.
• Design, configure, test, deploy, monitor, and support AI assistants, agents, prompts, retrieval-based solutions, workflows, automations, and enterprise application enhancements.
• Optimize prompts, knowledge sources, retrieval strategies, and agent instructions while building human-in-the-loop review, approval, correction, escalation, and override controls.
• Connect AI solutions with authorized applications, data sources, APIs, connectors, and integrations while maintaining security, privacy, responsible AI, and governance standards.
• Support enterprise application administration, integrations, access management, workflow configuration, reporting, release testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science, data science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience from academic, internship, research, project, or professional environments supporting AI-powered applications, automations, enterprise systems, or related technologies.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, agent frameworks, MCP, workflow automation, and responsible AI practices.
• Understanding of enterprise applications, cloud technologies, databases, integrations, authentication, permissions, APIs, and software delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the United States and travel as required, up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI, OpenAI, Salesforce Agentforce, Anthropic Claude, Google Vertex AI, Amazon Bedrock, Power Platform, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to CRM, ERP, CPQ, HRIS, customer service, analytics, or other enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, cybersecurity, privacy, healthcare technology, or other regulated environments.
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools, integration platforms, APIs, semantic search, agent frameworks, or business process automation.
