Financial Reporting Manager

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey; flexible hybrid working is available.

What you will do

• Lead accounting activities for a portfolio of fund structures, management companies, and related entities.
• Review bookkeeping, investor reports, statutory financial statements, and responses to investor queries.
• Attend client board meetings and present quarterly financial information.
• Manage audit queries and act as a senior authority on day-to-day accounting matters and four-eyes signatory reviews.
• Review direct and indirect tax returns, reconciliations, and coordination with foreign tax advisers.
• Supervise junior staff and support their training, development, and appraisal processes.

Requirements

• Relevant professional qualification, preferably ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a financial services setting.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial services accounting.
• Experience in people management and responsibility for a client relationship or a significant part of a major client relationship.
• Computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
