Solution Engineer I (Security Platform)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid working

What you will do

• Demonstrate the Security Platform Services offering and translate internal user requirements into business outcomes.
• Understand users’ technical systems and identify opportunities to accelerate platform adoption.
• Consult on and deliver custom technical solutions using existing platform components.
• Support onboarding and platform usage by diagnosing errors, troubleshooting unexpected behavior, and optimizing configurations.
• Define user needs, architect solutions with users and development teams, and lead realization efforts.
• Contribute to the platform roadmap, technical documentation, and community of security platform users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in solution design and internal customer-facing roles.
• 1–3 years of scripting experience; Python knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience supporting technical business cases with qualitative and quantitative data.
• Experience in incident response and the ability to solve complex problems in constrained environments.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in security or security companies.
• Automation and orchestration experience.
• Technical documentation experience.
• Experience working in operational environments such as Security Operations.
• Additional language skills.
