What you will do

• Analyze publicly disclosed CVEs affecting Java open-source libraries and frameworks.
• Investigate safe, compatible versions of third-party dependencies.
• Backport security patches from newer releases to older versions.
• Fix or mitigate vulnerabilities when no upstream patch exists.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with engineers and security specialists to deliver production-ready updates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Java Core and Spring.
• Experience with Maven, Gradle, and Ant.
• Daily experience using AI tools.
• Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub for CI/CD, plus legacy systems and backward compatibility.
• Upper-intermediate English or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with repository management systems such as Nexus.
• Experience with Python.
