Resourcing Manager

What you will do

• Own resource planning and allocation across four teams in the Consulting Practice.
• Match consultants’ skills, strengths, aspirations, and availability to project requirements.
• Monitor capacity, utilisation, and resource forecasts while identifying gaps, overbooking, and delivery risks.
• Partner with Consulting Heads, Directors, and Client Engagement and Delivery teams on staffing decisions and priorities.
• Manage holiday requests and support workload balancing for consultants.
• Improve resourcing processes, planning routines, and ways of working with business support and capability leadership.

Requirements

• Experience in resource management, workstream management, operations, or project management.
• Fluent or professional proficiency in English.
• Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong people judgement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to translate individual strengths and motivations into staffing decisions.
• Comfort working with forecasting, utilisation, and capacity data.
• Organised, proactive, and able to balance business priorities, employee development, and delivery needs.

Nice to have

• Experience in an agency, consultancy, or other project-based environment.
