Senior Product Manager - Instant Payments (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define and execute product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and investment priorities for an instant payments portfolio.
• Lead market research, competitive analysis, customer discovery, and validation for real-time payment opportunities.
• Own the product lifecycle from concept and business case development through delivery, launch, adoption, measurement, and optimization.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, product, marketing, sales, customer, and partner teams to deliver complex financial technology products.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on FedNow, RTP, ISO 20022, payment limits, settlement, liquidity, and 24/7/365 payment operations.
• Mentor Product Managers and Product Analysts and represent the organization at customer and industry engagements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience in instant payments, real-time payments, faster payments, digital payments, or related payment technologies.
• Experience supporting or implementing the FedNow Service and/or RTP Network.
• Strong experience with product strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, and end-to-end product lifecycle management.
• Deep understanding of real-time payment operations, settlement, payment limits, liquidity, operational resilience, fraud prevention, and risk management.
• Experience with ISO 20022 messaging standards, including pain.001, pacs.008, pacs.002, pain.013, and pain.014.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of overall professional experience.
• Community bank or credit union experience.
• Pragmatic Institute Certification Level II or higher.
• Experience with Aha! or comparable product management platforms.
• Knowledge of Regulation E and UCC Article 4A.
