Senior UIR Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; work at customer sites is required

What you will do

• Install, assemble, align, inspect, and test hirify.global equipment at customer locations.
• Execute hardware upgrades, system setup and recovery, relocations, and locally owned field swaps.
• Analyze system problems, collect diagnostic information, adapt solution approaches, and route issues to second- or third-line support when needed.
• Plan and execute customer procedures by coordinating machine time windows and arranging required parts, tools, equipment, and technical information.
• Drive process improvements, train customers on equipment use and non-routine maintenance, and recommend procedural changes.
• Share technical knowledge across teams and coach junior engineers across multiple systems and products.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in UIR engineering or a closely related technical role.
• BSc degree in a relevant technical field such as electrical technology, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in the semiconductor industry is required.
• Specialized knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, or electronics; semiconductor processes; and relevant software.
• Experience with computer applications, data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
• Ability to work flexibly across different settings and locations in a fast-paced, ambiguous, customer-focused environment.
