Low-Latency Java Software Engineer (Electronic Trading)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, high-availability, and high-capacity platforms for electronic trading.
• Develop core frameworks, services, and components supporting position management, resource distribution, client workflows, controls, and reference data.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to design and implement trading solutions.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, support, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in other regions to build reusable features and systems.

Requirements

• Strong Java programming skills, preferably in real-time, low-latency, or zero-GC environments.
• Experience producing organized, readable, and maintainable software.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and creative-thinking abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience writing automated unit and integration test suites.

Nice to have

• Experience with electronic trading platforms, including reference data, market data, and FIX.
• Experience with sequencer or event-based architectures and zero-GC Java.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Python, SQL, or Linux.
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects while maintaining a strategic focus.
