Senior Product Engineer (TypeScript/React)

What you will do

• Own product features from requirements clarification and acceptance criteria through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Build full-stack web software using React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, and event-driven distributed systems.
• Collaborate with product owners and domain experts to turn business and customer needs into buildable technical solutions.
• Write unit and Playwright end-to-end tests as part of the development lifecycle.
• Operate production software by monitoring services, troubleshooting incidents, and implementing corrective improvements.
• Document technical decisions, estimates, risks, and implementation rationale while supporting predictable delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping production web software across frontend and backend development.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, React, or comparable full-stack technologies.
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including data modeling and database development.
• Professional experience with AWS or a comparable cloud platform and event-driven or distributed backend architectures.
• Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests with tools such as Playwright.
• Practical experience with AI coding tools, autonomous delivery, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience in tax, accounting, fintech, legal, or another highly regulated domain.
• Experience with Node.js 20, Fastify, Express, React 18, module federation, PostgreSQL/Aurora, AWS Lambda, SQS, S3, ECS, and event-driven distributed processing.
