Senior Consultant (Gas & LNG)

Location: London or Edinburgh, United Kingdom; occasional travel may be required for client engagements.

What you will do

• Deliver strategic and commercial consulting projects across energy and natural resources, with a focus on Gas & LNG.
• Conduct advanced modelling, data analysis, market assessments, and strategic evaluations.
• Gather and interpret data from internal and external sources, industry publications, databases, and company products.
• Develop clear, compelling client presentations, reports, and actionable recommendations.
• Own project workstreams, present findings to clients and colleagues, and track project risks, milestones, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with consulting, research, commercial, and subject matter expert teams to improve methodologies and service offerings.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, commercial analysis, market intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• Degree-level education; a STEM discipline and/or Master’s qualification is preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including data analysis, modelling, market assessment, and strategic evaluation.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and influence stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset, logical and structured thinking, strong organisation, adaptability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Gas & LNG sector.
• Experience in broader energy and natural resources sectors, including industry dynamics, value chains, and the energy transition.
• Experience in market analysis, corporate strategy, market entry, valuation, or financial modelling.
