SAP Technical Solution Architect

Location: Venlo, Netherlands; hybrid work model with home-office support.

What you will do

• Define and drive the SAP Clean Core strategy across standard capabilities, in-app extensibility, RAP development, and SAP BTP side-by-side solutions.
• Own the technical architecture of the SAP S/4HANA landscape and guide teams through the full development lifecycle.
• Advise on SAP development standards, code quality, security, performance, architectural governance, and technical design.
• Lead modernization and automation initiatives involving DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, SAP Build solutions, AI-assisted development, and continuous improvement.
• Design SAP interfaces, applications, third-party integrations, OData services, RAP implementations, CDS annotations, and Fiori Elements foundations.
• Support SAP strategy, roadmap planning, monitoring, reporting, maintenance, upgrades, audit compliance, data privacy, performance, and availability.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior SAP Developer, Technical Lead, or SAP Solution Architect in complex SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong expertise in modern ABAP, object-oriented development, RAP, CDS Views, OData services, and Clean Core-compliant development.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP extensibility, including the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Solid understanding of SAP Fiori architecture and Fiori Elements development principles.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in SAP environments.
• Strong architectural decision-making skills, including evaluating solution options and making informed recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset, strong ownership, and passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
