Logistics Management Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Midwest City, Oklahoma, United States; 100% onsite in an embedded program-office role

What you will do

• Support the Missile Sustainment Division for the Air Launched Cruise Missile System Program Office.
• Plan and administer provisioning, spares, maintenance, and repair activities across logistics programs.
• Research contractual, technical, usage, and maintenance data to determine sustainment requirements.
• Develop logistics plans, assess logistics assets and infrastructure, and conduct distribution and network studies.
• Prepare planning documents and use databases for cost analysis, financial management, inventory monitoring, and reporting.
• Apply DoD, USAF, agency, and industry standards while advising customers and management.

Requirements

• Must work 100% in the office in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
• Bachelor’s degree or at least five years of experience in military acquisition, sustainment logistics, or program management.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Experience with MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of depot and field maintenance, supportability, PWS, SOW, DIDs, test procedures, obsolescence, DMSMS, risk management, and end-item delivery and installation.
• Clear verbal and written communication, multitasking, problem-solving, critical thinking, and management advisory skills.

Nice to have

• USAF Equipment Specialist expertise and USAF System Program Office or aircraft experience.
• Experience developing life cycle logistics strategies, service-life extensions, and test and evaluation activities.
• Program management experience covering cost, schedule, technical, and performance responsibilities.
• Experience with DoD and USAF weapon-system, logistics, supply, or maintenance systems.
• APDP Level II or III certification in Life Cycle Logistics, a master’s degree, relevant PME, or knowledge of Tinker AFB and its mission.
