Principal Solutions Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States or Canada; up to 30% travel may be required. In-person onboarding in Toronto is required for all go-to-market roles.

Salary: $171,000–$248,000 USD annual base for US-based roles, or CAD 170,000–247,000 annual base for Canada-based roles; commission-eligible.

What you will do

• Lead technical validation of emerging products, strategic initiatives, and incubating technologies through general availability.
• Partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to shape product direction using field feedback.
• Build repeatable discovery frameworks, demonstrations, technical messaging, reference architectures, and implementation guidance.
• Design and deliver technical enablement through workshops, labs, certifications, and playbooks.
• Lead strategic customer engagements, private previews, beta programs, and early-adopter initiatives with executive-level technical guidance.
• Represent hirify.global at executive briefings, conferences, webinars, podcasts, customer events, and industry forums while mentoring Solutions Engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles within enterprise B2B SaaS, including initiatives beyond an individual sales territory.
• Experience translating emerging technologies into customer value, repeatable field motions, and product or go-to-market recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, or related cross-functional teams.
• Strong executive communication, storytelling, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Deep knowledge of modern identity architectures and developer or AI-powered workflows, including OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, APIs, MCP, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, AI agents, and modern cloud platforms.
• Experience with MEDDPICC or a similar enterprise sales methodology and the ability to work autonomously without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience with private previews, beta programs, early-stage products, technical enablement, or customer-facing content.
• Knowledge of AI Security, Developer Security, Privileged Access, SaaS Manager, or Unified Access Management.
• Public speaking, technical writing, podcasting, analyst engagements, or other technical thought leadership experience.
