Quality Specialist II

Location: Remote from the Philippines; permanent work-from-home setup, with a coworking space available in Manila

What you will do

• Own quality assurance activities within an Agile squad and partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain regression test coverage for new and existing functionality.
• Design and execute test plans and test cases covering boundary, edge-case, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Investigate defects with troubleshooting and monitoring tools and provide actionable feedback.
• Assess testing progress and risks during release planning.
• Identify scenarios for automation and support the expansion of automated test coverage.

Requirements

• Previous dedicated experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Experience testing business processes and integrations involving Salesforce, Zendesk, and Intercom.
• Experience with bug tracking and management systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience testing high-availability web applications across test, staging, and production environments.
• Understanding of integration and contract testing; Postman or similar API testing tools are advantageous.
