Clinical Technology Specialist (Medtech)

Location: New Orleans, LA, USA; frequent local travel to healthcare facilities, occasional overnight travel, and flexible scheduling including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

What you will do

• Set up and operate surgical technologies before and during procedures.
• Provide technical equipment guidance to surgeons and healthcare staff.
• Complete preoperative checklists, sterilization, equipment calibration, and documentation.
• Load and transport surgical technologies to healthcare facilities and operate vehicles safely.
• Apply workplace and laser safety practices while delivering responsive customer service.
• Build professional relationships with healthcare partners and internal teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with no major violations.
• Ability to work flexible schedules with early mornings, evening cases, occasional weekends, and overnight travel.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency, strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to push, pull, and manipulate medical equipment weighing more than 50 pounds and remain active for extended periods.
• Ability to meet assigned medical facility credentialing requirements, including required immunizations, health screenings, background checks, and drug screens where applicable.

Nice to have

• Medical, EMT, surgical technologist, or military experience.
• Experience working long days, unpredictable schedules, or early mornings.
