Software Engineer - Frontend (MedTech)

What you will do

• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and production-quality web solutions for robotics products.
• Build modern web applications with component-based architectures and reusable UI components.
• Create responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using Svelte and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts and data flow between the web frontend and C++ services via gRPC.
• Contribute to the existing Qt Widgets-based interface and participate in software design, testing, and documentation.
• Investigate quality issues reported by manufacturing, internal testing, and external customers, identifying root causes and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, with strong HTML5 and CSS3 skills.
• Experience with modern web frameworks, reactive programming, state management, component-based UI architecture, and reusable component libraries.
• Strong design sensibility, attention to UI/UX detail, and knowledge of Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Ability to work independently, communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and travel up to 10% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with C/C++ and Qt Widgets.
• Familiarity with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Experience with web performance optimization, Bash, PowerShell, or Python scripting.
• Familiarity with linear algebra, 3D mathematics, or the medical device field.
