Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician Manager

Location: Hong Kong SAR, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong; fully on-site

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of Inventory & Asset Management technicians through coaching, empowerment, and accountability.
• Manage daily inbound and outbound logistics operations, inventory cycle audits, warranty processes, and asset-management activities.
• Plan and communicate end-to-end projects, allocate resources, and adjust workflows to meet operational timelines.
• Track and resolve issues with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and third-party vendors.
• Coordinate secure destruction of data-bearing devices and verify that devices leaving the premises contain no customer information.
• Maintain compliance with contracts, purchase orders, safety procedures, and data-center regulatory requirements while improving processes through simplification and automation.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 3+ years of experience in warehouse or supply-chain operations in an IT environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, logistics, or a related field; equivalent experience is accepted.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security-screening requirements.
• Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
• Experience supporting operational compliance, safety procedures, and material-handling activities.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in IT warehouse, supply-chain, or logistics operations within a large corporation.
• Experience operating heavy-load movement equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or chassis lifts.
• 1+ year of project-management experience.
• APICS/ASCM, IAITAM, inventory-control, or equivalent certification.
