Senior Process Engineer - Greenfield (Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Lead process engineering activities for offshore greenfield oil and gas facilities, including wellhead platforms, processing facilities, gas compression, water injection, produced water treatment, and export systems.
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, process design bases, process narratives, heat and material balances, hydraulic analyses, relief studies, flare network analyses, and equipment sizing calculations.
• Perform process simulations using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent software, and optimize production systems.
• Support concept selection, Pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, technology selection, process optimization, and evaluation of project alternatives.
• Prepare equipment specifications and datasheets, support technical bid evaluations, and review vendor and contractor documentation.
• Provide technical support during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, performance testing, and field modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 15 years of process engineering experience in oil and gas, including at least 8 years in offshore facilities and greenfield development projects.
• Experience with ADNOC, Middle East, or major international offshore projects and large EPC FEED and detailed engineering phases.
• Strong knowledge of offshore oil and gas processing, gas processing, produced water treatment, crude oil stabilization, water injection, flare, and relief systems.
• Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Flare System Analyzer, and process calculation software; Pipesim experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, IEC, and ADNOC engineering standards, together with experience in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL assessments, QRA, constructability, and SIMOPS reviews.
