Gas Turbine Commissioning and Fact-Finding Engineer - Seasonal Contract - 12 Months

What you will do

• Perform hands-on installation, overhaul, maintenance, and servicing of gas turbine systems.
• Refurbish, assemble, and disassemble combustion chamber components, burners, turbine frames, casings, and related equipment.
• Assess equipment condition and execute repairs and improvements using technical documentation and standard corrective measures.
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical instructions, P&ID diagrams, and test records.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, failures, and service work.
• Follow EHS procedures covering confined-space entry, working at height, foreign material exclusion, and lifting and rigging.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of field service experience, including 1–2 years maintaining prime movers in power stations.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools, including feeler gauges, micrometers, calipers, dial gauges, and block gauges.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills and the ability to work in multicultural teams.
• Vocational or technical mechanical qualification.
• Willingness to travel frequently, work abroad, and perform shift work.
• Familiarity with 4000F and 2000E turbine tiling and hydraulic tightening equipment such as Hytorc or ITH is beneficial.

• Field service and breakdown maintenance experience.
• German language skills.
• Experience with 4000F and 2000E turbine tiling and hydraulic tightening equipment.
