Project Chemist (Automotive)

What you will do

• Provide technical support to the manufacturing plant to maintain product quality and performance.
• Transfer new products and technologies into production.
• Manage product maintenance independently and conduct in-depth chemical reviews.
• Adapt DFMEA and establish documentation for modified products.
• Evaluate new technologies, raw materials, and processes, and present technical results to customers and suppliers.
• Lead TS 16949 audit activities for the R&D team and complete special projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of R&D experience in product formulation, ideally involving polymer compositions for automotive or industrial applications.
• Proven experience leading product development projects from ideation through market introduction.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams involving EHS, Operations, and Sales/Marketing.
• Experience supporting audit preparation and leading TS 16949 audits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ownership, self-motivation, and the ability to build customer relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
